ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Cruel Intentions The Musical will return to New York

The jukebox musical will play a limited engagement starting in November

You know what they say: If NBC passes on your TV remake of a ’90s cult movie, there’s always your jukebox musical remake of a ’90s cult movie.

And that seems to be working out fine for the team behind Cruel Intentions: The Musical, which announced Wednesday that it will play a limited engagement in New York City. The production enjoyed two sold-out Los Angeles runs in 2015 and 2016 and a sold out February pop-up performance in New York at Poisson Rouge. Now the production is returning to Poisson Rouge starting on Nov. 17 and running through Jan. 29, 2018, with an opening night set for Dec. 11.
